Can I stain/finish Real Simple Furniture myself?
Yes. It is extremely easy to finish Real Simple Furniture yourself if you have purchased the unfinished option of our product(s). Unlike most unfinished furniture which is pre-assembled, our furniture comes in individual parts that can be finished prior to assembly allowing for even distribution of color and no excess stain in the corners and or joints. ONLY water-based stains, in no more than 3 (three) layers, are recommended to ensure the product easily slips together during assembly. Multi-color effects can be achieved by mixing colors within the product for a two-tone effect (perfect for kid's rooms). It is recommended that the back of the lock-key or the underside of a shelf or top be used for sampling color prior to applying stain in more visible areas.

Real Simple Furniture is manufactured from plywood that is produced from a renewable species of imported Baltic Birch.

90-days for manufacturing defects only. Properly cared for , Real Simple Furniture will last for years.

NOTE: Real Simple Furniture is manufactured to exact tolerances and should slide together easily without having to force or jam parts together. MAKE CERTAIN that the lips and grooves face each other (as noted in the instructions) and that each piece is in the correct position in the correct order with the correct side up and or down as specified. how should I care for Real Simple Furniture?
Wipe furniture with a clean, damp cloth and use furniture polish as needed. Because Real Simple Furniture is real wood (made from a renewable species of imported Baltic Birch plywood), nicks and scratches can be touched up with a furniture pencil. In extreme cases you may strip, sand, and re-stain as you would any piece of quality furniture.
are the cushion covers washable?
Yes, simply un-zip and remove the covers. Machine wash in the gentle/delicate cycle in cold water. Allow covers to air-dry, DO NOT place covers in dryer.
